The NXP Semiconductors LS1046ASN8P1A is a high-performance microprocessor from the QorIQ Layerscape family, featuring four 64-bit Arm Cortex-A72 CPUs arranged in a single cluster with a 2 MB L2 cache, capable of operating up to 1.8 GHz.
This processor includes a DDR4 SDRAM memory controller with ECC and interleaving support, operating up to 2.1 GT/s. It is equipped with a Data Path Acceleration Architecture (DPAA) for optimized packet processing, queue management, buffer management, and cryptography acceleration. Connectivity options include two RGMII interfaces, multiple SerDes lanes supporting PCI Express 3.0, SATA 6 Gbit/s, XFI (10 GbE), SGMII, and QSGMII interfaces.
Additional peripherals include QSPI, SPI, and an integrated flash controller supporting NAND and NOR flash.
