LPC11A14FBD48/301, Description

Short technical summary and product information.

The LPC11Axx family, including the LPC11A14FBD48/301, consists of low-cost 32-bit microcontrollers based on the ARM Cortex-M0 processor. Designed for 8/16-bit microcontroller applications, these MCUs provide enhanced performance and low power consumption with a simple instruction set and reduced code size.

The LPC11A14FBD48/301 operates at CPU frequencies up to 50 MHz. It features up to 32 kB of on-chip flash program memory, up to 8 kB of SRAM data memory, and up to 4 kB of EEPROM data memory. Digital peripherals include up to 42 general purpose I/O (GPIO) pins, a Fast-mode Plus I2C-bus interface, a RS-485/EIA-485 USART, two SSP controllers, and four general purpose counter/timers.

Analog peripherals include a 10-bit ADC with input multiplexing among 8 pins and a 10-bit DAC with flexible conversion triggering. Other integrated features include an analog comparator, a temperature sensor, an internal voltage reference, and UnderVoltage LockOut (UVLO) protection. The device is available in a 48-LQFP package and supports surface mount installation.

Key system features include the ARM Cortex-M0 processor with a built-in Nested Vectored Interrupt Controller (NVIC), Serial Wire Debug (SWD), JTAG boundary scan, and a system tick timer. In-System Programming (ISP) and In-Application Programming (IAP) are supported via on-chip bootloader software for flash and EEPROM.
