The OptiFuse LPA-04Y is an in-line fuseholder designed for 1/4-inch by 1-1/4-inch (6.35mm x 32mm) cartridge fuses, commonly known as 3AG or SFE-20 fuses. It is rated for a maximum current of 30A at 32V DC and features a free hanging (in-line) mounting style with crimp termination.
The fuseholder body is constructed from nylon, with brass contacts. It is splashproof, though not designed for prolonged liquid exposure or submersion. The LPA-04Y supports a single circuit and is available with or without pre-inserted wire. The standard wire gauge options and corresponding maximum amperages are: 12 AWG (25A), 14 AWG (20A), 16 AWG (15A), and 18 AWG (10A).
Typical applications include automotive, marine, and other DC circuits requiring overcurrent protection in a compact, in-line form factor. The crimp termination allows for easy field installation without special tools. The fuseholder is RoHS3 compliant, REACH unaffected, with an MSL of 1 (unlimited).
