The LMZM33602RLRR is a complete integrated power solution from Texas Instruments, combining a 2A step-down DC/DC converter with power MOSFETs, a shielded inductor, and passives in a low-profile 9mm x 7mm x 4mm QFN package. It requires as few as four external components, simplifying design and reducing board space to under 100mm².
Key specifications include an input voltage range of 4V to 36V, an adjustable output voltage from 1V to 18V, and efficiencies up to 95% (typical 94%). The switching frequency is adjustable from 200kHz to 1.2MHz and can be synchronized to an external clock. Protection features include overcurrent protection (OCP), overtemperature protection (OTP), and programmable undervoltage lockout (UVLO). A power-good output and prebias start-up capability are also provided.
