The LMZ31506RUQR is a non-isolated point-of-load (PoL) module with an integrated inductor, delivering up to 6A continuous output current. It accepts an input voltage from 2.95V to 14.5V and can be configured for an optional split rail mode that allows input down to 1.6V. The output is adjustable from 0.6V to 5.5V with 1% reference accuracy, using a synchronous buck topology with current mode control.
Protection and control features include overcurrent protection (hiccup mode), over-temperature protection, pre-bias start-up, and EMI compliance to EN55022 Class B. The switching frequency is adjustable from 250kHz to 780kHz and can be synchronized to an external clock. Remote sense, tracking, power good, and enable functions are also provided.
