The LMX2694-SEP from Texas Instruments is a high-performance, wideband phase-locked loop (PLL) synthesizer designed for demanding applications. It features an integrated voltage-controlled oscillator (VCO) and voltage regulators, capable of outputting frequencies from 39.3 MHz to 15.1 GHz without requiring a doubler.

Key electrical specifications include a phase noise of -110 dBc/Hz at 100-kHz offset with a 15-GHz carrier, and 54-fs RMS jitter at 8 GHz. The device boasts a figure of merit of -236 dBc/Hz and normalized 1/f noise of -129 dBc/Hz. It supports synchronization of output phase across multiple devices and provides SYSREF generation with 9-ps resolution programmable delay, making it suitable for high-speed data converters.
