LMX2592RHAT Description

Short technical summary and product information.

The LMX2592RHAT from Texas Instruments is a high-performance, wideband RF PLLatinum™ RF synthesizer featuring an integrated VCO. It operates across a broad frequency range, from 20 MHz to 9.8 GHz, making it suitable for diverse RF applications.

This device boasts industry-leading phase noise performance, with a normalized PLL noise floor of -231 dBc/Hz and normalized PLL flicker noise of -126 dBc/Hz. It achieves 49-fs RMS jitter for a 6-GHz output, ensuring signal integrity. The LMX2592RHAT supports both fractional-N and integer-N modes, with a 32-bit fractional divider for fine frequency selection. Key features include IBS removal, phase adjustment, programmable charge pump current, and programmable output power levels.

Designed for surface mount, the LMX2592RHAT comes in a 40-VQFN (6x6 mm) package. It operates from a single 3.3V power supply and accepts various input clock types including CMOS, HCSL, LVDS, and LVPECL. The device features dual differential outputs and can be controlled via SPI or uWire serial interfaces.
