The LMX2531LQ1910E by Texas Instruments is a low-power, high-performance frequency synthesizer system featuring a fully integrated delta-sigma PLL and VCO with a built-in tank circuit. This device operates within a frequency range of 553 MHz to 3132 MHz and supports a supply voltage from 2.8V to 3.2V.
Key features include Fractional-N Delta-Sigma modulation, programmable up to fourth order, and FastLock/Cycle Slip Reduction with a timeout counter. The PLL also incorporates a partially integrated, adjustable loop filter, contributing to very low phase noise and spurs. The integrated VCO includes a tank inductor for low phase noise.
Designed for wireless communication devices, the LMX2531LQ1910E generates stable, low-noise local-oscillator signals. It is fabricated using an advanced BiCMOS process and comes in a 36-pin, 6mm x 6mm x 0.8mm WQFN package. The operating temperature range is -40°C to 85°C.
This device supports 1.8-V MICROWIRE communication and offers low operating current and low power-down current, making it suitable for power-sensitive applications.
