The LMX2326TMX is a monolithic, integrated frequency synthesizer with a prescaler, designed to generate stable, low-noise signals for RF transceiver local oscillators. Fabricated using National's ABiC V silicon BiCMOS 0.5µ process, it employs a digital phase-locked loop technique.
This device supports a maximum frequency of 2.8 GHz and operates within a supply voltage range of 2.3V to 5.5V. It features ultra-low current consumption, drawing 4.7 mA at 3V. The LMX2326TMX includes a 32/33 dual modulus prescaler and a MICROWIRE interface for serial data transfer.
Designed for applications such as portable wireless communications, Wireless Local Area Networks (WLANs), and Cable TV tuners, the LMX2326TMX is available in a 16-pin TSSOP surface mount package. It is compatible with 2.5V VCC JEDEC standards and offers programmable power down modes with typical current consumption of 1 µA at 3V.
