The Texas Instruments LMH1981MT/NOPB is a high-performance multi-format video sync separator designed for professional video equipment and HDTV/DTV systems. It accepts standard analog SD/ED/HD video signals with bi-level or tri-level sync.
This device provides critical timing signals in CMOS logic, including Composite, Horizontal, and Vertical Syncs, Burst/Back Porch Timing, Odd/Even Field, and Video Format Outputs. It features superior jitter performance on the leading edge of HSync and automatically detects the input video format, eliminating the need for microcontroller programming. The sync separator applies precise 50% sync slicing for accurate sync extraction, even with irregular input amplitudes.
