The LMH1208RTVT from Texas Instruments is a low-power, dual output cable driver specifically designed for 12G UHD-SDI applications. It supports SMPTE video rates up to 11.88 Gbps, making it suitable for 4K/8K video transmission.
This device features dual differential output cable drivers and includes on-chip 75-Ohm termination and return loss compensation. It offers programmable slew rate control, pre-emphasis, and output amplitude adjustments for its 75-Ohm outputs, as well as programmable de-emphasis and output amplitude for its 100-Ohm loop-back output. Polarity inversion is supported on both output types.
