LMH0356SQ/NOPB

The Texas Instruments LMH0356SQ/NOPB is a high-performance SDI reclocker designed for professional video applications. This device supports multiple serial digital video standards including SMPTE ST-424, ST-292, and ST-259, with data rates ranging from 270 Mbps up to 2.97 Gbps. It also supports DVB-ASI at 270 Mbps.

Key electrical features include a single 3.3V supply operation with a typical power consumption of 430 mW. The LMH0356SQ/NOPB integrates a 4:1 multiplexed input with an FR4 equalizer on each input, capable of handling signals through up to 30 inches of FR4. It provides two differential, reclocked outputs, with an option for a second reclocked output or a recovered clock output. Control is managed via a Pin/SMBus interface, and it operates within an industrial temperature range of -40°C to 85°C.

This reclocker is available in a 48-pin WQFN (7x7 mm) or a 40-pin WQFN (5x5 mm) package. The 48-pin WQFN version is footprint-compatible with the LMH0056 and LMH0036, simplifying upgrades. It includes features like manual rate select, SD/HD operating rate indicator, lock detect indicator, output mute function, auto/manual reclocker bypass, and a power saver mode with device power-down control, offering typical power consumption of 10 mW in the disabled state.
