The LM95234CISD from Texas Instruments is an 11-bit digital temperature sensor with an SMBus interface, capable of accurately monitoring its own temperature and up to four remote diodes. It utilizes TruTherm™ BJT beta compensation technology for precise sensing of sub-micron process thermal diodes. The sensor offers a local temperature accuracy of ±2.0°C and remote diode accuracy of ±0.875°C.
Key features include programmable digital filters, analog front-end filters, and multiple temperature ranges including +127.875°C/–128°C and 0°C/255°C. It supports remote diode fault detection and model selection. The device operates from a 3.0V to 3.6V supply voltage and has a sensing temperature range of -40°C to 125°C.
Packaged in a 14-WSON (4x4) or 14-WFDFN Exposed Pad, the LM95234CISD is designed for surface mount applications. Its features like programmable conversion rate, shutdown mode, and one-shot conversion control offer flexibility for power management.
