The Texas Instruments LM71CIMF/NOPB is a low-power, high-resolution digital temperature sensor featuring an SPI and MICROWIRE compatible interface. It is available in a 5-pin SOT-23 package.
This sensor operates over a wide temperature range of -40°C to +150°C, providing accurate temperature readings with a resolution of 13-bit plus sign. The accuracy is ±1.5°C within the -10°C to +65°C range, and ±3/±2°C across the full -40°C to 150°C range.
With a supply voltage range of 2.65V to 5.5V and a low operating current of 550µA maximum, the LM71CIMF/NOPB is suitable for power-critical applications. Its simple SPI interface allows the host to query temperature readings at any time.
The sensor is designed for surface mount applications and comes in a compact SOT-23-5 package (SC-74A, SOT-753). It also includes a shutdown mode feature for further power saving.
