It supports acoustic fan noise reduction with a user-programmable 8-step lookup table. The LM63DIMA is housed in a compact 8-pin SOIC package, suitable for surface mount applications.

 

Key functionalities include measuring fan RPM via a Tachometer input and an offset register for adjusting to various thermal diodes. The 10-bit plus sign data format provides 0.125°C resolution for remote diode temperature readings. The SMBus 2.0 compatible interface supports TIMEOUT functionality.
