The Texas Instruments LM62CIM3 is a precision integrated-circuit temperature sensor. It operates within a 0°C to +90°C temperature range and is suitable for remote applications. The sensor provides an output voltage linearly proportional to Celsius temperature with a gain of +15.6 mV/°C and a DC offset of +480 mV, allowing for readings down to 0°C without a negative supply.
Key specifications include an accuracy of ±3°C at 25°C and ±4°C over the full operating range. The device operates from a supply voltage of 2.7V to 10V and draws a maximum current of 130 µA at 25°C. Nonlinearity is specified at ±0.8°C maximum, and the output impedance is 4.7 kΩ maximum.
This sensor is available in a SOT-23-3 package, designed for surface mounting. Its low power consumption limits self-heating to 0.2°C in still air. The LM62CIM3 also features a shutdown mode for power conservation.
