The Texas Instruments LM61BIM3 is a precision integrated-circuit temperature sensor. It is designed to sense temperatures within a range of -30°C to 100°C and operates from a single 2.7V supply.
The sensor provides a linear output voltage that is proportional to temperature, with a scale factor of 10mV/°C and a DC offset of 600mV. This offset allows for the reading of negative temperatures without requiring a negative supply voltage. The nominal output voltage ranges from 300mV to 1600mV across the specified temperature range.
Accuracy is rated at ±2°C at room temperature (25°C) and ±3°C over the -25°C to 85°C range. The device also features a shutdown mode for power saving.
