The Texas Instruments LM45CIM3 is a precision integrated-circuit temperature sensor with an analog voltage output linearly proportional to the Celsius temperature. It offers ±3°C accuracy over its rated -20°C to 100°C range, with ±2°C accuracy at room temperature. The sensor operates from a supply voltage of 4V to 10V and draws a low current of less than 120µA, resulting in minimal self-heating.
Featuring a linear +10.0 mV/°C scale factor, the LM45CIM3 simplifies interfacing with readout or control circuitry. Its low output impedance and inherent calibration make it suitable for various applications. The device is housed in a SOT-23-3 surface-mount package, making it ideal for space-constrained designs.
This sensor is calibrated directly in Celsius and requires no external trimming. Its low cost is achieved through wafer-level trimming and calibration. The LM45CIM3 is suitable for remote sensing applications where accurate temperature measurement is critical.
