The LM45BIM3X/NOPB from Texas Instruments is a precision integrated-circuit temperature sensor with an analog voltage output linearly proportional to Celsius temperature. It is calibrated directly in degrees Celsius and features a linear scale factor of 10mV/°C.
This sensor provides an accuracy of ±2°C at room temperature and ±3°C over its full operating range of -20°C to 100°C. It operates from a supply voltage of 4V to 10V and draws a low supply current of less than 120µA, resulting in minimal self-heating (0.20°C in still air).
The LM45BIM3X/NOPB is supplied in a SOT-23-3 surface-mount package. Its low output impedance and precise inherent calibration make it easy to interface with readout or control circuitry. It is suitable for remote applications and offers a low-cost solution due to wafer-level trimming.
Key electrical characteristics include a ±0.8°C maximum nonlinearity over temperature and a low impedance output of 20Ω for a 1mA load.
