The LM3S3748 is a 32-bit microcontroller featuring an ARM Cortex-M3 processor core operating at 50 MHz. It includes a System Timer (SysTick), Nested Vectored Interrupt Controller (NVIC), and Memory Protection Unit (MPU).
This device is equipped with 128 KB of single-cycle flash memory and 64 KB of single-cycle SRAM. It provides a comprehensive set of peripherals including two UARTs with IrDA support, two Synchronous Serial Interface (SSI) modules supporting SPI and MICROWIRE, and two Inter-Integrated Circuit (I2C) modules operating at standard 100 Kbps.
Additional features include a 10-bit Analog-to-Digital Converter (ADC) with eight input channels and a sample rate of 1 MSPS, a lower-power battery-backed Hibernation module with a Real-Time Clock, and a 32-channel configurable µDMA controller. The microcontroller also incorporates an ARM FiRM-compliant Watchdog Timer and four General-Purpose Timer Modules (GPTM), each with two 16-bit timers.
The LM3S3748 is available in a 100-pin LQFP package measuring 16 mm x 16 mm. It operates within a temperature range of -40°C to 85°C. Note that this part is not recommended for new designs.
