LM393LVDR

The Texas Instruments LM393LVDR is a dual independent voltage comparator designed for low-voltage applications, operating from a wide supply voltage range of 1.65 V to 5.5 V. This device can serve as a direct replacement for standard TL331, LM2xx, LM3xx, and LM290x comparator families in low-voltage scenarios, offering improved performance and additional features.

Key electrical characteristics include a low input offset voltage of 400 μV typical, a propagation delay of 600 ns typical, and a low quiescent current of 25 µA/Ch typical. The comparator features rail-to-rail inputs that can tolerate up to 6 V without damage or phase inversion, and an open-drain output type. It also includes a Power-On-Reset (POR) feature to ensure the output remains in a High-Z state until the minimum supply voltage is reached, preventing transients during power-up and power-down.

The LM393LVDR is specified for a full operating temperature range of -40°C to +125°C. It offers 2 kV of ESD protection. The device is housed in an 8-SOIC package with surface mount mounting type, measuring 3.91 mm x 4.90 mm.
