The ON Semiconductor LM393AN is a dual independent precision voltage comparator designed for single or split supply operation. It allows for a common mode range to ground level with single supply operation. This device features a low input offset voltage of 5mV maximum and a low input bias current of 25nA.
With a wide single-supply range of 2.0 Vdc to 36 Vdc and a split-supply range of ±1.0 Vdc to ±18 Vdc, the LM393AN is suitable for various applications. It exhibits very low current drain, independent of supply voltage, at 0.4 mA typical. The input common mode range extends to ground level, and the differential input voltage range equals the power supply voltage.
The LM393AN is housed in an 8-DIP package and supports through-hole mounting. Its operating temperature range is 0°C to 70°C. The output voltage is compatible with DTL, ECL, TTL, MOS, and CMOS logic levels. ESD clamps on the inputs enhance ruggedness without affecting performance.
