The LM3914N-1 is a monolithic integrated circuit designed to sense analog voltage levels and drive 10 LEDs, providing a linear analog display. It offers external selection between dot and bar display modes. The circuit features a programmable output current ranging from 2 mA to 30 mA and an internal voltage reference adjustable from 1.2V to 12V.
This display driver operates with a single supply voltage of less than 3V and its inputs can operate down to ground. The input can withstand ±35V without damage or false outputs. The LM3914N-1 is rated for operation from 0°C to 70°C and is available in a PDIP-18 package.
