The LM34DM from Texas Instruments is a precision integrated-circuit temperature sensor that provides an output voltage linearly proportional to the Fahrenheit temperature. It is calibrated directly in degrees Fahrenheit with a linear 10.0 mV/°F scale factor and offers ±1°F accuracy at 77°F. The sensor is rated for a full -50°F to 300°F range and operates from 5V to 30V.
Designed for ease of use, the LM34DM requires no external calibration or trimming. It features low current drain (less than 90 µA) and minimal self-heating (0.18°F in still air). The device exhibits typical nonlinearity of only ±0.5°F and a low-impedance output.
