LM339MX

The Texas Instruments LM339MX is a General Purpose Quad Comparator, part of the LMx39-N series. It features four independent precision voltage comparators designed to operate from a single power supply over a wide voltage range, from 2V to 36V DC or ±1V to ±18V DC. The device exhibits very low supply current drain of 0.8 mA, independent of the supply voltage magnitude.

Key electrical characteristics include a low input bias current of 25 nA and a low input offset current of ±5 nA. The offset voltage is typically ±3 mV. The comparator offers a low output saturation voltage of 250 mV at 4 mA and its output voltage is compatible with TTL, DTL, ECL, MOS, and CMOS logic systems. The operating temperature range is from 0°C to 70°C.

This comparator is housed in a 14-SOIC package and is designed for surface mount applications. Its advantages include high-precision comparison, reduced VOS drift, and the ability to sense near ground. The design eliminates the need for dual supplies and is suitable for battery-powered applications.
