The LM193H by Thomson-CSF is a dual precision voltage comparator designed for low power consumption. It operates over a wide supply voltage range, from 2.0 V to 36 V for single supplies, and ±1.0 V to ±18 V for dual supplies. The device features a very low supply current drain of 0.4 mA, which is independent of the supply voltage magnitude.
Key electrical characteristics include a low input biasing current of 25 nA and a low input offset current of ±5 nA. The maximum offset voltage is ±3 mV, and the output saturation voltage is 250 mV at 4 mA. The input common-mode voltage range includes ground, making it suitable for sensing near ground levels. The output voltage is compatible with TTL, DTL, ECL, MOS, and CMOS logic systems.
This comparator is housed in a TO-CAN (LMC) package and operates across a wide temperature range of -55°C to 125°C. The standard package quantity is 500 units. Its design makes it suitable for applications such as limit comparators, simple analog-to-digital converters, pulse and squarewave generators, and MOS clock timers.
