The LM1881M/NOPB from Texas Instruments is an integrated circuit designed to separate timing information from standard video signals. It extracts composite sync, vertical sync, burst or back porch timing, and odd/even field information from NTSC, PAL, and SECAM video signals with amplitudes ranging from 0.5-V to 2-V p-p.
This video sync separator IC is capable of handling non-standard and faster horizontal rate video signals. The vertical output is generated on the rising edge of the first serration in the vertical sync period, with a default output provided if the rising edge does not occur within the set delay. It supports operating voltages from 5V to 12V and has a power consumption of 25 mW.
The LM1881M/NOPB is available in an 8-SOIC surface mount package. Its input resistance is greater than 10 kΩ, and the power supply drain current is less than 10 mA. The device supports horizontal scan rates up to 150 kHz.
This component is suitable for professional video applications requiring precise timing extraction from various video standards.
