LM10506TME/NOPB Description

Short technical summary and product information.

The Texas Instruments LM10506TME/NOPB is a specialized Power Management IC (PMIC) featuring three highly efficient programmable buck regulators and one low-dropout linear regulator. This device is designed for applications such as solid-state drives and supports ASIC and SOC designs.

The PMIC accepts an input voltage range of 3V to 5.5V. It offers multiple configurable buck outputs: Buck 1 provides 1.1V to 3.6V at 1.3A, Buck 2 offers 1.1V to 3.6V at 400mA, and Buck 3 delivers 0.7V to 1.335V at 600mA. The integrated LDO provides 3.2V at 100mA. Key electrical features include a typical quiescent current of 0.1mA and a switching frequency of 2MHz, which allows for smaller inductor sizes.

Protection features include overvoltage and undervoltage lockout, automatic internal soft-start with power-on reset, and current overload and thermal shutdown protection. The output voltages are programmable via an SPI interface, and alternate buck VOUT can be selected via H/L logic pins. The device also includes RESET and STANDBY pins.

Packaged in a 34-DSBGA, the LM10506TME/NOPB is designed for surface mount applications. It operates within an ambient temperature range of -40°C to 85°C. Note that this product is not recommended for new designs.
