LHC1-2780-1208

The Lumileds LHC1-2780-1208 is a Chip On Board (COB) LED module designed for high-efficacy general lighting applications. It features a small Light Emitting Surface (LES) of 17.00mm diameter, contributing to less expensive and more efficient luminaire designs.

This module offers a warm white color output with a Correlated Color Temperature (CCT) of 2700K, defined within a 3-step MacAdam ellipse for color consistency. It provides a typical luminous flux of 3400lm at 900mA and 35.5V, with a Color Rendering Index (CRI) of 80, ensuring vibrant reds with an R9 value between 80 and 90. The viewing angle is 150°, and the module has a flat lens type.

Designed for real-world operating conditions, it is hot-tested at 85°C, simplifying luminaire design and minimizing testing. The module's compact dimensions (24.00mm L x 20.00mm W x 1.50mm H) and low thermal resistance enable the use of smaller heat sinks and higher lumen outputs. Primary applications include architectural lighting, downlights, high bay & low bay lighting, lamps, outdoor lighting, specialty lighting, and spotlights.

The LHC1-2780-1208 is specified with a RoHS3 compliant status and an MSL of 1. It is noted as no longer orderable, with the DS115 LUXEON CoB Core Range suggested as a replacement for new designs.
