The LFSTBEB845X is an evaluation board kit designed by NXP Semiconductors for the MMA845xQ family of 3-axis accelerometers. The kit includes three separate accelerometer development boards featuring the MMA8451Q (14-bit), MMA8452Q (12-bit), and MMA8453Q (10-bit) ICs, along with an LFSTBUSB interface board and cables. Each development board communicates via an I²C digital interface and offers selectable sensing ranges of ±2g, ±4g, and ±8g.
The utilized accelerometer ICs are housed in compact 3x3x1mm QFN packages, making the kit suitable for evaluating space-constrained motion sensing applications. The interface board connects to a PC via USB for data acquisition and analysis using NXP's Sensor Toolbox software. The kit is intended for prototyping and development of orientation, tilt, vibration, and motion detection systems.
