The Texas Instruments LF156H/883 is a monolithic JFET input operational amplifier utilizing BI-FET™ Technology. It integrates well-matched, high-voltage JFETs with standard bipolar transistors on a single chip.
This amplifier is designed for high-speed performance, featuring a wide gain bandwidth of 5MHz, a fast slew rate of 12V/µs, and an extremely fast settling time to 0.01% of 1.5µs. It exhibits low input bias and offset currents (30pA and 3pA respectively) and a very high input impedance of 10 TΩ.
Key electrical characteristics include a high common-mode rejection ratio of 100 dB and a large DC voltage gain of 106 dB. The device is suitable for applications requiring low noise, such as precision high-speed integrators, fast D/A and A/D converters, and high impedance buffers.
The LF156H/883 comes in an 8-lead Metal Can package (TO-CAN). Its design allows for the use of large capacitive loads up to 5,000 pF without stability issues. The operating temperature range is -55°C to 125°C.
