The Bel Power Solutions LDX-B20 is a microprocessor-controlled buffer unit rated for 20 A, usable in 12 V, 24 V, 48 V, and 72 V systems. It monitors the DC power supply voltage and utilizes a capacitor bank to maintain regulated output for at least 300 ms during a power failure.
This buffer module features a wide input voltage range of 12-85 VDC and offers multiple protections, including overload and short circuit. It integrates a step-up (boost) converter for charging the capacitor bank and a step-down (buck) converter for discharging at an adjustable output voltage. The LDX-B20 supports both AUTO and MANUAL operating modes, with the latter allowing user-settable fixed output voltages.
Designed for reliability, the LDX-B20 has an energy storage capacity of over 150 Joules. It operates within a temperature range of -40°C to +70°C and is cooled by natural convection. The unit complies with various safety and EMC standards, including UL508 and EN60950 for safety, and EN55022/EN55011 Class A for emissions.
