The Littelfuse LCE17A is a unidirectional transient voltage suppression (TVS) diode designed to protect sensitive electronic equipment from voltage transients induced by lightning and other transient events. It features a reverse standoff voltage of 17V and a maximum clamping voltage of 27.6V at a peak pulse current of 54A (10/1000µs waveform). The device can dissipate 1500W of peak pulse power under the same test conditions.
This TVS diode offers a fast response time of less than 1ps from 0V to breakdown voltage, making it suitable for high-speed data line protection. It provides ESD protection up to 30kV (air and contact) per IEC 61000-4-2. The device is housed in a DO-201AA/DO-27 axial leaded package and is designed for through-hole mounting. It operates over a junction temperature range of -55°C to 175°C.
The LCE17A is halogen-free and RoHS compliant, with a matte tin lead-free plated finish. It is suitable for general purpose applications including I/O interfaces, VCC bus, and other vulnerable circuits in telecom, computer, industrial, and consumer electronics.
