The Littelfuse LCE16 is a unidirectional transient voltage suppression (TVS) diode designed to protect sensitive electronic equipment from voltage transients induced by lightning and other transient events. It features a reverse standoff voltage of 16V and a maximum clamping voltage of 27.3V at a peak pulse current of 57A (10/1000μs waveform).
The device offers a peak pulse power dissipation of 1500W and a steady state power dissipation of 6.5W on an infinite heat sink. It has a fast response time of typically less than 1.0ps from 0V to breakdown voltage minimum. The LCE16 is housed in a through-hole DO-201AA, DO-27, or Axial package with a supplier device package of DO-201.
This TVS diode is suitable for general purpose applications including I/O interface protection, VCC bus protection, and other vulnerable circuits in telecom, computer, industrial, and consumer electronics. It is rated for an operating temperature range of -55°C to 175°C.
The reverse standoff voltage is 16V.
The maximum clamping voltage is 27.3V.
The peak pulse power dissipation is 1500W for a 10/1000μs waveform.
The LCE16 is available in a through-hole DO-201AA, DO-27, or Axial package with a supplier device package of DO-201.
The breakdown voltage range is 17.8V minimum to 19.7V maximum at a test current of 1mA.
The maximum peak pulse current is 57A for a 10/1000μs waveform.
