The LCDA15C-8.TBT from Semtech is a bidirectional TVS diode array designed for general-purpose transient voltage suppression. It integrates 8 Zener-type clamping channels with a typical reverse standoff voltage of 15V and a maximum clamping voltage of 33V at the rated peak pulse current.
This device can handle a peak pulse current of 15A per the 8/20µs waveform and delivers a peak pulse power dissipation of 500W. Its low capacitance of 8pF at 1MHz makes it suitable for protecting high-speed data lines without signal degradation. The operating junction temperature range is -55°C to 125°C, enabling use in harsh environments.
The array is housed in a standard 16-SOIC surface mount package (0.154" body width, 3.90mm pitch) and is RoHS3 compliant. The mounting type is surface mount, compatible with automated assembly processes. It is not intended for power line protection but is well-suited for data and signal line protection.
