Key features include a 6-stage IF amplifier and limiter for excellent AMR, followed by a signal meter driver. The FM detector stage utilizes a double-balanced quadrature detector, complemented by a low-frequency preamplifier and muting controller. The muting system includes weak signal and detuning muting drive outputs, with hysteresis in the weak signal muting circuit to prevent malfunction due to amplitude components.
