The Lite-On Semiconductor L12ESDL5V0C6-4C is an ultra-low capacitance TVS array designed to protect sensitive components on high-speed data and transmission lines from overvoltage events such as ESD, CDE, and EFT.
This device features a reverse standoff voltage of 5V and a breakdown voltage of 6V at 1mA. It can handle a peak pulse power of 120W and a peak pulse current of 5A (8/20µs waveform). The clamping voltage is 15V at 1A and 24V at 5A. Its low junction capacitance, typically 0.3pF (I/O to I/O), makes it suitable for high-speed interfaces.
The L12ESDL5V0C6-4C protects up to four I/O lines and a VCC line. It is housed in a SOT23-6L package with surface mount capability. The case material is "Green" molding compound with a UL flammability classification of 94V-0. Terminals are lead-free with a matte tin finish.
Applications include HDMI, DVI, monitors, flat panel displays, USB 2.0, USB OTG, and IEEE 1394 Firewire ports. It meets IEC 61000-4-2 level 4 ESD protection.
