The KX134-1211 from ROHM Semiconductor is a tri-axis digital accelerometer designed for a wide range of motion sensing applications. It offers user-configurable acceleration ranges of ±8g, ±16g, ±32g, or ±64g, providing flexibility for different detection needs.
This accelerometer supports both I2C and SPI digital interfaces for easy integration into embedded systems. It operates over a wide temperature range of -40°C to 105°C, making it suitable for demanding environments. The device features a 3-stage Advanced Data Path (ADP) with filtering and RMS calculation capabilities, along with advanced wake-up and back-to-sleep detection down to 15.6 mg.

It includes embedded algorithms for orientation, tap detection, and free fall detection, simplifying implementation of complex motion-based features.
