The Kycon KUSBX-SLAS1N-B is a USB 2.0 Type A receptacle connector from the KUSBX-SL series. Designed for upright flag style mounting, it reduces PCB footprint while supporting hot plugging and is compatible with many computer peripherals. The connector is rated for 1.5A maximum current and 30VAC, with a contact resistance of 30 milliohms maximum and insulation resistance of 1000 megohms minimum. Dielectric withstanding voltage is 500VAC.
Mechanically, the connector features a through-hole right angle mounting style with solder termination. It has 4 contacts and is shielded. The mounting feature is vertical, and a board lock is included for secure attachment. The insulator is made of PBT thermoplastic with UL94 V-0 rating, contacts are phosphor bronze with gold over nickel plating, and the shell is copper alloy.
