The KTS1670EDA-TR is an over-voltage protection (OVP) switch designed to protect low-voltage systems from voltage supply faults up to +30V. It integrates an N-Channel MOSFET with ultra-low on-resistance of 60mΩ (typical) and supports continuous current up to 3A.
The device offers adjustable over-voltage threshold via an external resistor divider, ranging from 4V to 22V, or a fixed default threshold of 6.05V (typical). It features a fast OVP turn-off response time of 100ns, an 18ms debounce time, and built-in UVLO, short-circuit, and thermal shutdown protection. The KTS1670 is compliant with IEC61000-4-2 ESD protection at ±8kV contact and ±15kV air gap, and HBM ESD at ±2.5kV.
The KTS1670EDA-TR is available in an 8-UFDFN exposed pad surface mount package (8-UDFN 2x2mm). It is RoHS and Pb-free compliant. Typical applications include smartphones, mobile internet devices, tablet computers, peripherals, and set-top boxes.
