The Kycon KLDX-SMT2-0202-BTR is a surface mount DC power jack designed for portable device applications. It features a 2.5mm center pin diameter and a 5.5mm outer diameter, with an actual outer diameter of 6.5mm. The connector includes a single normally closed internal switch and has 2 conductors with 3 contacts.
Electrical specifications include a maximum current rating of 3.5A and a maximum voltage rating of 24VDC. Contact resistance is 30mOhm max between terminals before durability testing, and 50mOhm max from plug to contacts. Insulation resistance is 100MOhm min at 500VDC, and dielectric withstanding voltage is 500VAC RMS for 1 minute.
