KLDX-0202-AHT

The KLDX-0202-AHT is a DC power jack from Kycon's KLDX series, designed for PCB mounting with a through hole, right angle orientation. It features a 2.0mm center pin diameter and a 6.4mm outer barrel diameter, making it compatible with standard 2.0mm ID / 6.4mm OD mating plugs. The jack is rated for 3.5A continuous current at 24V DC, with a single normally closed internal switch.

Electrical performance includes a maximum contact resistance of 30 mOhm between terminals and 50 mOhm from plug to contacts before durability testing, degrading to 60 mOhm and 100 mOhm respectively after 5000 cycles. Insulation resistance is 100 MOhm minimum at 500V DC, and the connector withstands 500V AC RMS for 1 minute. Operating temperature ranges from -25°C to +85°C.

Constructed with a PBT plastic housing rated UL94 V-0, the center pin is copper alloy with nickel plating, contacts #1 and #3 are brass with tin plating, and contact #2 is phosphor bronze with tin plating. The component is RoHS3 and REACH compliant, with UL file E140125 and CSA file LR78160.

Typical applications include laptop and palm computers, portable modems, radar detectors, and other portable electronic devices requiring a reliable DC power input.
