The Schurter KG16.5101.151 is a compact power entry module (PEM) that integrates multiple functions into a single panel-mount component. It features an IEC 320-C14 appliance inlet rated for 10A at 250VAC (50/60Hz), combined with a 2-pole non-illuminated rocker switch, a fuseholder accommodating either 5x20mm or 6.3x32mm fuse sizes, and a voltage selector with up to 4 positions. The module is designed for protection class I applications and is suitable for use in equipment per IEC/UL 62368-1.
This unfiltered variant is intended for commercial applications where line filtering is not required. The fuseholder is a Shocksafe category PC2 design, and the fuse drawer is sold separately. The module is rated for operating temperatures from -25°C to 70°C and offers IP40 protection on the front side.
The housing is made of black thermoplastic with UL94 V-0 flammability rating. Mounting is via panel mount with flange, using screw-on or snap-in versions. Electrical connections are made via quick connect terminals (0.189" / 4.8mm). The module requires a rectangular panel cutout of 27.50mm x 80.00mm.
This PEM is particularly useful in applications requiring a single component for power entry, switching, fuse protection, and voltage selection, simplifying design and assembly. It is approved by CSA, ENEC, and UL.
