The Schurter KD14.4101.151 is a power entry module from the KD series, combining an IEC 320-C14 appliance inlet, a 2-pole line switch, a 1- or 2-pole fuseholder, and a voltage selector in a single compact unit. This unfiltered commercial-grade module is rated for 10A at 250VAC and designed for panel mount installation with either screw-on or snap-in mounting options. The quick connect terminals (4.8x0.8mm) simplify wiring.
The module accommodates standard 5x20mm or 6.3x32mm fuse sizes, with the fuse drawer sold separately. It features a V-Lock notch for secure cord retention and meets the enhanced glow wire test requirements of IEC 60335-1 for unattended appliances. The front side offers IP40 protection against ingress of solid objects larger than 1mm.
With an operating temperature range of -25°C to 70°C, the KD14.4101.151 is suitable for a wide variety of industrial, medical, and IT equipment. The housing is made of thermoplastic rated UL94 V-0, and the module carries approvals from CCC, CSA, ENEC, and UL. It is designed for protection class I equipment per IEC 61140.
Panel thickness for screw mounting is up to 8mm; for snap-in mounting, 1.5, 2, or 2.5mm. The dielectric strength is >3kVAC between L-N and >4kVAC between L/N-PE. This module is a reliable solution for applications requiring a fused inlet, switch, and voltage selection in one component.
