The device can handle a non-repetitive peak forward surge current of 40 A for 8.3 ms.

 

Electrical characteristics include a maximum forward voltage of 1.1 V at 1.5 A and a typical reverse current of 5 µA at 25°C, rising to 500 µA at 125°C. The junction-to-case thermal resistance is 18 °C/W, and the operating temperature range spans -65°C to 150°C.

 

The KBP10G is housed in a through hole KBP package with molded plastic case material rated UL 94V-0. Terminals have a matte tin finish and are solderable per MIL-STD-202, Method 208. The case dielectric strength is a minimum of 1500 VRMS.
