The Mini-Circuits KARN-50-18+ is a wideband 50Ω coaxial termination designed to absorb signals up to 2W across a frequency range of DC to 18 GHz. It provides excellent return loss performance, with a minimum of 33 dB from DC to 1 GHz, 30 dB up to 4 GHz, 26 dB up to 8 GHz, 20 dB up to 12 GHz, and 18 dB up to 18 GHz, ensuring minimal signal reflection across its entire operating band.
This termination features a rugged brass body with a trimetal finish and an N-Type Male connector, making it suitable for demanding RF and microwave applications. It is housed in a compact LL718 case style and is designed for free-hanging or cap mounting. The operating temperature range is -55 to +100 °C, with power derating above 70°C at 0.025W/°C.
