The Kycon K85X-CD-37P-BR is a 37-position D-Sub plug designed for vertical through hole mounting. It features male pins with gold flash contacts for reliable signal transmission. The connector is rated for 2A per contact and 30V RMS, with a contact resistance of 13 mOhm maximum and insulation resistance greater than 1000 MOhm at 500V DC. Dielectric withstanding voltage is 1000V for 1 minute. The operating temperature range is -55°C to +105°C.
The shell is made of steel with nickel plating, and the insulator is PBT thermoplastic with glass-fiber reinforcement, rated UL94 V-0. The connector includes board locks and grounding indents for secure PCB attachment and EMI protection. Termination is solder type.
This connector is suitable for a wide range of signal applications in industrial control, data communication, and test equipment. The RoHS-compliant design ensures environmental compliance. Alternative plating options are available with 15u" or 30u" gold (K85X-CD-37P-BR15 and K85X-CD-37P-BR30).
