The Kycon K85X-AD-15S is a 15-position D-Sub receptacle connector designed for vertical through-hole mounting. It features female sockets with brass contacts plated with gold flash on the mating end and tin on the termination end, with a nickel underplate. The shell is made of steel with nickel plating, and the insert is PBT thermoplastic with 30% glass fill, rated UL94 V-0.
Electrical specifications include a current rating of 2A per contact, a voltage rating of 30V RMS, insulation resistance greater than 1000 MOhm at 500V DC, dielectric withstanding voltage of 1000 VAC RMS for 1 minute, and contact resistance of 13 milliohms maximum.
