Kycon K85X-AD-15P-BR is a 15-position D-Sub plug connector with male pins. It uses through hole mounting and solder termination, making it suitable for vertical PCB mounting. The connector includes board locks and grounding indents for secure attachment.
Electrical specifications include a rated current of 2A, rated voltage of 30V RMS, dielectric withstanding voltage of 1000V AC for one minute, insulation resistance greater than 1000 MΩ at 500V DC, and contact resistance of 13 mΩ maximum. The operating temperature range is -55°C to +105°C.
Mechanically, the shell is steel with nickel plating. Contacts are brass with gold flash on the mating end and tin on the termination end, with nickel underplating. The insert is PBT thermoplastic, 30% glass filled, rated UL94 V-0. This connector is RoHS compliant per the manufacturer drawing.
