The Littelfuse K2000G is a silicon bilateral voltage-triggered switch, commonly known as a SIDAC. It is designed for AC circuit applications and features a breakover voltage range of 190V to 215V. When the applied voltage exceeds this threshold, the SIDAC switches to a low on-state voltage, continuing conduction until the current drops below its holding level.
This component is suitable for high voltage power supplies, natural gas igniters, high-pressure sodium lamps, and Xenon flash ignition systems.
